If you want to know more about this exciting competition or even be part of the production, keep an eye out for the call to auditions or drop us an E-Mail at info@dubaidramagroup.com and check out the Up-Coing Events Page for details of the Auditions.

The Wind in the Willows

It’s December!  Holiday time!  Family time!  And what better way to have fun with the family than to join Ratty, Mole, Badger, Toad and the Wild Wooders on their adventures in Dubai Drama Group’s production of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows.

Watch as extravagant Toad ditches his trusty horse Albert for a caravan, then discards the caravan to pursue his sudden passion for motor cars, and it is this passion for motor cars – and driving them dangerously fast – that puts Toad away in prison.

What happens next?  Who are the Wild Wooders and what do they do to Toad Hall while Toad is in prison?  Well, you’ll just have to come along to find out!

The Wind in the Willows will run at the Kilachand Theatre, DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates on the 15th, 16th and 17th of December, with evening shows at 7:00 and matinee shows on Friday and Saturday at 1:00.

Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad can’t wait to make new friends, so come along!

Tickets are for AED 50 and can be bought at the DUCTAC box office. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment!  For more information please contact Drama Group at dubaidramagroup@hotmail.com.

The Birthday Party is a “comedy of menace” about Stanley Webber, a lodger in a rundown boarding house in an English seaside town with an uncertain past. Two mysterious strangers arrive, supposedly on his birthday and turn Stanley’s apparently innocent birthday party into a nightmare. Read the rest of this entry
